ISM

Tavrida ISM series is the lightest and most compact medium voltage circuit breakers available on the market today.

  • All components are assembled along a single axis, with three mono-stable magnetic actuators (one per pole).
  • The actuators are mounted in a steel frame and are mechanically linked by a synchronizing shaft.
  • Long mechanical and interrupting lives
  • The actuators drive a pulling insulator that in turn connects to the advanced Tavrida vacuum interrupters at the top of the breaker.

This single-axis design results in the highest reliability available today: Maintenance free with a total life expectancy of > 30 years, and up to 150,000 close - open operations. The Tavrida ISM can be installed in any orientation which makes it equally suitable to either new switchgear or retrofit applications.

Outdoor Circuit Breaker (OSM)

Tavrida Electric's Outdoor Circuit Breaker OSM is designed for the use as an automatic circuit Recloser on overhead distribution lines and as an outdoor circuit breaker in distribution substation applications for voltages up to 27kV. 30.000 C-O operations with rated current or 200 operations with full short-circuit breaking current makes them the most reliable product in the market. Tavrida's light vacuum circuit breaker and the robust aluminum tank contribute to the total weight of the OSM of not more than 77kg making this the most light weight outdoor circuit breaker in the market. The OSM is air insulated. The patented combined insulation makes them an environmental friendly option.

Built for the worst conditions, the OSM has been tested at the KIPTS harsh environment test labs in South Africa, achieving the highest rating for both pollution and weather resistance. Worldwide installations have shown the OSM performing at the most extreme temperatures, from -50°C in Russia to +55°C in the Middle East.
